early birds

So this morning BOTH of my kids woke up around 6:30....they NEVER do that. We fed Kasen and put him back to bed, he laid in there and plaid for a while and then fell back asleep. Braden on the other hand took lots of coaxing to go back to sleep. He first had to have an apple and some milk and I had to read him a Thomas book. So after all of that I'm proud to report they are both still sound asleep...YAY!!! I can get some mommy time in........=)

Bradens 1st day of BSF Bible School

Well this morning I sent my baby boy off for his first day of school. It is only once a week, he is going to BSF Bible School with his Mema on Wednesdays. She took him over yesterday to check out the building and the classroom that we was going to be in. He kept asking me last night, "mom is it time to go to school yet?" He was so excited last night about it, I just really hope that he had a good time today. I can't wait for him to get home and tell me all about it!!! I was going to put up a pic that I took of him before he left the house, BUT for some reason my USB ports on the computer are not working.....I'll try again later!

A day in the woods

Sunday we decided to go out to the farm where Billy hunts and put up his deer camera and just drive around the farm and see if we could see some deer or something for Braden. Braden had lots of fun, he got out with Billy and helped him put the camera up and they walked around in the "forest" as Braden called it. Kasen and I sat in the car, he slept and I read a magazine. It was pretty nice to just get out of the house and do something different for the day. Braden took his pop-gun with him and everytime they got out of the car he had to take it "just in case he saw a deer." It was really cute. Here are some pics!

Valentines Day

So this year on Valentines day me and the boys were at home all day while Billy was at work. We made brownies for Billy and made Valentines cards for grandparents and for Billy. Later that afternoon Braden & Kasen got a special delivery from Nana & Papa Hank, they got balloons and stuffed frog. Braden thought it was super cool that someone brought the gift to the door for them. Billy and I got Madagascar 2 for Braden and some Pez candy (he saw them at Wal-Mart and threw a mini fit for them the other day, so we surprised him with it on Valentines day). The boys got me a candle set and a snow globe. There is a funny story about the snow globe. Billy took Braden to Wal-Mart to pick out my present, he asked Braden what he wanted to get me and Braden said he wanted to get me a snow globe. Billy told him that Christmas was over and that I probably would want something different. So they turned down the other Valentine aisle and there sat a snow globe that you put your own pictures in and it was on clearance for like $2. SOOO long story short I got a snow globe with Braden's picture on one side and Kasen's picture on the other. It was my favorite gift!! I also got some flowers from Billy. Braden also got to go to McDonalds to eat and got Henry the train from his Nanna. I think the train was his favorite!!! Here are some pics of the kids and their gifts.

it's been a LONG day

Well it has been a while since I have been on here, it just seems like we have been super busy the last couple of weeks. Last night Braden came down with a nasty nasty sounding cough and a little wheeze. I took him to the doctor this morning and he has an Upper Resp. Infection, fun fun, it's viral so it will just have to run its course. He hates it when he coughs, he says "momma it hurts and makes my eyes drip", poor baby...=(. I have had a migraine all day, so we have done a lot of laying around. We, (Braden, Kasen & I) spent most of the day in the recliner reading books, or laying on mine and Billy's bed watching cartoons. It's been a long day and we are going to bed now @ 8:40 (it's a miracle)!! I'll post some pics of the kids with their valentine presents tomorrow...I'm exhausted, it's been a LONG day!

Happy 4 year Anniversary...to me!

So today Billy and I have been married for 4 years, I can't believe it has already been 4 years. Time flies when you are having fun I guess. We have grown and accomplished so much in the short 4 years that we have been married, we became parents (twice), I became and Nurse and Billy is running a business. I'd say we have it pretty good...=)

And today Kasen is 3 months old, I had him dressed so cute and as soon as I got him dressed he decided that he needed to spit up EVERYWHERE and get it on me and him both, so once the clothes get out of the dryer I will take a pic and post it. Because trust me, it's super cute!

braden dancing

So last night I was getting washing my face and I heard Braden in the bedroom like jumping around....so I peeked out and he was standing in front of a mirror watching himself dance. I ran out to get the camera and this is what I got.....it is recoreded three different ways...sorry!

We didn't do much over the weekend, Saturday me and the boys played outside all day while Billy was at work. Braden played on his fort and we walked to the park and played for a while. Sunday Billy and I worked out in the yard the entire afternoon raking up the goofy pokey balls and leaves that were in the yard. That was about it....just working around the house.

Kasen will be 3 months old on Thursday....I can't believe he is already getting so big. But then at the same time I can't really remember life without him. When it was just Billy, Braden and I life was great but now I am so blessed to have two handsome, smart, fun, sons. I am so glad that I was picked to be their mother, life really can't get any better.
