I know it has been almost a year since I have blogged about our little family.....seems like the boys keep me super busy and we just play and go and work and play some more! I'm going to make a better attempt at keeping up with this...I know a lot of people can keep up with us like this since we live so far away from family and friends.
So this is what is going on right now:
Braden turned 4 in May, he went to First Friends Preschool last year and we are getting him ready for Pre-K to start in *yikes* 2 weeks...! He is ready, but mommy is not! He is smart as ever, most people that talk to him around town have a really hard time believing that he is only 4. Most think that he is 6! He has become quite the little businessman this summer. We are trying to teach him the value of money and saving and giving.....so he decided that he wanted a Lemonade Stand. Billy & I made him the CUTEST lemonade stand out of some old pallets and the mis-tinted paint from Lowes. We spent $11 and that little boy has made a LOT of money selling Lemonade.
Kasen will be 2 in November.....he is so much different than Braden was at this age. He is the kid that is ALL boy. Some of his favorite things to do are: bug hunting, squirting bugs with water guns, bug smashing.....if it involves a bug...he is there! He is also quite the little swimmer...and believe me he is NOT afraid to just run and jump in. Kasen wants to do anything and everything that Braden does, so it seems like he is growing up SOOO much faster than Braden did. I love to watch him try to do the same things that Braden does...it's so cute. He has also picked up Braden's love for trains. Oh well I guess.....we already have them, so that's less toys mom and dad have to buy!
Billy is working at a new job and LOVING it. It is really going to be a great thing for our family and send us in the right direction. As for me, I am back at the hospital in the Womens Center and LOVING every minute of it. I really did miss getting to help bring those babies into the world, its such an amazing thing to witness no matter how many times you have seen it! God is truly amazing!
So here is my promise: I will keep this thing updated for all of our friends and family to be able to keep up with us & our CRAZY FUNNY SMART LOVING little boys!
