Well yesterday I took Kasen for his 2 month check-up, he is doing great! He weighs 11 lbs 4 oz and is 23 inches long...he is doing good for a kid that weighed 6 lbs 1 oz and was 19 inches when born. He is in the 60th percentile for height, weight and head circumference. He did get 3 shots yesterday and WAS NOT happy about it, that is the longest and loudest he has cried so far.
Braden is doing awesome at the potty training, I knew it would come easy to him since he is such a smart kid (okay maybe I am a little biased...but he is a SUPER smart kid). His favorite thing to do is pee in the backyard ..(yes we have a privacy fence so no one can see)...I just took him our to pee and he said "mom...it's kind of nippy out here....we better go in before we catch a cold." LOL...how many 2 1/2 year olds say that kind of stuff??? He is hilarious...
I'm released from the doctor to go back to work....now if only the hiring freeze at the hospital would be lifted. I'm really ready to begin my career as a nurse, I'm ready to learn all of the new things that you can't learn in school and I'm ready to put my knowledge to work. But I guess all I can do right now is wait.....
Atta boy Braaden. You come from a long line of outdoor pee'rs. I remember your dad let'n er go in a Safeway parking lot, downtown Bartlesville one Sunday afternoon. It was a sight to remember, such range and pressure. Love ya boy..
ReplyDeleteTwo big boys - that is what you have on your hands - that are a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteIt will be nippy outside tomorrow. So - don't catch a cold while Braden waters the grass.
Excited to hear you are released and ready for the next chapter in your career. The job freeze will come soon enough to put you to work outside the home. But for now, just enjoy your time 'Home alone' with the boys as you wait ...
